When you have your automotive glass repaired or replaced at Carglass®, your manufacturer warranty remains intact. We only use glass that meets original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards and strictly follow the recommendations of car manufacturers.

Manufacturer Warranty
The manufacturer warranty is an additional service provided by the manufacturer when purchasing a new vehicle. It may vary depending on the manufacturer (e.g., bodywork warranty against corrosion, provision of a replacement vehicle in case of repair, etc.) and generally lasts longer than the legal warranty (3 to 5 years). Professional repairs or replacements carried out by Carglass® do not compromise this warranty.
The Legal Warranty: Your Rights Are Protected
Under Article 210 of the Code of Obligations (CO), every new car benefits from a 2-year legal warranty covering the absence of defects. Repairs or replacements performed by Carglass® have no impact on your rights under this warranty. You can therefore rely on our services with confidence, knowing that your warranties remain intact.
Restrictive Warranty Conditions Are Prohibited
Car manufacturers cannot limit or cancel the manufacturer warranty simply because a repair was carried out by a third party such as Carglass®.
Contractual terms that seek to restrict consumer rights in this context are legally inadmissible. However, the manufacturer is not responsible for defects resulting from normal wear and tear or caused by third parties.
